Summit Academy Independence
Summit Academy Independence is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1st Grade Teaching Assistant to support our young learners in a positive and engaging environment.
Position Details:
- Hours: 8–10 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, either 9:00–11:00 AM or 9:00–11:30 AM
- Pay: Starting at $15 per hour (higher with experience)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with small group instruction to reinforce learning
- Provide classroom support to teachers
- Supervise lunch and recess to ensure a safe and structured environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Some college coursework preferred
- Passion for working with young children in an educational setting
