Summary / Objective
The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing fundraising activities to support the mission of the Summit Educational Foundation. This position will cultivate donor relationships, organize fundraising events, manage grant applications, and secure funding from diverse sources including, but not limited to, individuals, foundations, corporations, and government entities to support the goals of our Summit Academy Schools. The ideal candidate will be a creative, result-driven professional passionate about education and community impact
Essential Functions
- Fundraising Strategy :
Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective donors.
Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to applicable foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
Plan and execute fundraising events such as galas, auctions, and donor appreciation events.
Represent the organization at community events, networking meetings, and speaking engagements to promote the mission.
Track and report fundraising progress to leadership, including metrics on donor engagement and revenue.
Partner with leadership, board members, and staff of Summit Academy Management to identify funding needs and opportunities.

This job operates in a professional office environment and requires some travel for donor meetings, events, and community engagements.

This position may require occasional evening or weekend hours for fundraising events or donor engagements.
Travel
