What are the responsibilities and job description for the K-8 Art Teacher position at Summit Academy?
Summit Academy Independence is looking for a K-8 art teacher that desires a school community where they can grow and belong. Applicant would teach junior high classes as well as elementary "specials" classes, Monday-Friday.
Community-oriented and supportive team environment. Looking for someone that wants to collaborate, grow their own practice, and help students to achieve their highest potential.
Supports for teachers include but are not limited to instructional coaches for every teacher, mentors for all new teachers within their first three years, two school social workers dedicated to our campus, and a truly supportive school team.
