Stockroom Clerk
The Stock Room Clerk is responsible to the Purchasing Manager for the inventory of the stockroom.
Primary Responsibilities
· Identifying, controlling, segregating and maintaining all stock to serviceable or unserviceable category.
· The preservation of all articles or parts, while carried in inventory, including parts that are subjected to deterioration and shelf life specifications.
· Controlling Inventory.
· Ensuring Shelf Life items are identified at incoming inspection.
· Distribution of parts to the departments.
· Ensuring all items are inspected before acceptance into the inventory.
· Bar-coding inventory.
· Accomplishing Supplier Corrective Action Reports when nonconformance is identified.
· Keep the work area clean and organized to facilitate process flow improvements
· Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
· Complete other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
· A minimum education requirement of High School Diploma or GED is required
· Must have attention to detail
· Must have the ability to handle the necessary functions entailed in the position’s responsibilities including using tools, equipment, sitting and standing for extended periods of time
· Perform work in a safe manner and completes all required safety trainings
· Must have the ability to work overtime including Saturday’s as necessary
· Able to lift heavy items (50lbs.)
· Able to stand for long hours
· Wear all required PPE

· Ability to work independently and work in a team environment
· Possess analytical and communication skills
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
· Manual dexterity and the ability to work productively on a repetitive basis is required
