Job Summary
\We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team at Summit at Plantsville Center for Health & Rehabilitation. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care, leading by example, and promoting a culture of compassion and excellence within our team.
\Responsibilities
\As an RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing and coordinating the nursing staff within a dedicated unit \
- Developing and implementing care plans, ensuring individualized resident care \
- Supervising daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation \
- Conducting regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance \
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to nursing staff \
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident well-being \
- A valid state RN nursing license \
- Advanced degree or certification preferred \
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred \
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care \
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both \
- Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills \
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities \
