Summit at Plantsville Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, leading by example, and promoting a culture of compassion and excellence within our team.

Responsibilities

As an RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and coordinating the nursing staff within a dedicated unit
\
• Developing and implementing care plans, ensuring individualized resident care
\
• Supervising daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
\
• Conducting regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance
\
• Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to nursing staff
\
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident well-being
\

Requirements

\

To be successful as an RN Unit Manager, you will possess:

\

• A valid state RN nursing license
\
• Advanced degree or certification preferred
\
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
\
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
\
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
\
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
\
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
\
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
\
