Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the event team by reading and executing "Run of Shows" precisely
Lead others, provide feedback, maintain inventories, and prepare after action reports
Take responsibility and work independently to manage events in Event Specialist absence
Preparing and providing services for events such as : meetings, banquets, weddings, concerts, etc.
Setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, dinner and drink buffets
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
Collaborating with culinary team and other staff to ensure seamless event execution
Maintain professionalism and service by anticipating and responding to guest needs promptly
Ensure cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events
Consistently adhere to dress code.
Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe working area
Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training
18 years of age or older
Required : Experience in events / banquets and strong time management and prioritization skills
Required : Ability to stand for long times and lift / carry items such as linens, trash, and plates
Can read at an 8th grade level
Ability to show up on time and work entire shift
Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
Be or become a registered member of Scouting America

Physical Requirements
Up to 14 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
