What are the responsibilities and job description for the OB Hospitalist position at Summit Bridge Partners?
About the Role : Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced OB-GYN to join their hospital team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new program at the hospital, allowing you to play a crucial role in shaping medical care at their facility. Work seven 24-hour shifts / month in-house.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including ER and walk-ins
- Ensure consistent performance of clinical services in accordance with program definition
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal-Fetal-Medicine support may only be available by telephone
- Participate in the development of clinical guidelines and protocols at the assigned site
- Ensure that practice consistently conforms to hospital guidelines, policies, and protocols
- Collaborate with team to ensure hospitalist participation in overall quality initiatives
- Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds
- Participate in clinical drills
Qualifications and Experience :
Education :
Licensure and Certification : Must have or be eligible for a State Medical License.
