What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant and Toddler Teacher position at Summit Child Care Center?
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for the children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children in a child care setting is preferred.
- Experience in caregiving, nannying, or babysitting is beneficial.
- Strong classroom management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is a plus.
