A Library Technician 40-hour per week position is open at the North Branch Library. Must be available to work some nights and weekends. Under direction from management, the Library Technician operates the circulation desk, plans and facilitates library programs for a variety of age groups, plans and facilitates community outreach, provides customer service and readers’ advisory, trains library substitutes and volunteers, and works in staff teams to develop a sustainable approach to library programs and services.

Qualifications :
This is a high-energy and physically demanding job that requires moving up and downstairs, travel to attend meetings in other locations, bending, lifting 10-20 pounds, moving chairs, tables, and boxes of books, balancing, squatting, standing over 50% of the time, stretching, and fine motor skills.
