We are seeking a dedicated Patrol Deputy to join our team. As a key member of our law enforcement agency, you will play a vital role in maintaining public safety and upholding the law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent crime and respond to incidents.
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws.
- Respond to calls for assistance, including emergencies and disputes.
- Make arrests, issue warnings or summons, and conduct investigations.
- Protect crime scenes, gather evidence, and take witness statements.
- Transport arrestees and prepare reports for court proceedings.
- Testify in criminal and civil court as required.
- Assist detectives and other law enforcement personnel in investigations.
The Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Colorado driver's license (or ability to obtain one).
- Colorado POST certification (certified or non-certified applicants accepted).
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
