What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Wellness Specialist - Milwaukee Based position at Summit Credit Union?
The Financial Wellness Specialist (FWS) is responsible for servicing and growing corporate partner relationships to drive sales and service goals. The FWS will be a subject matter expert in Summits financial education and bring this knowledge to corporate partner employees. The FWS creates strong cross departmental partnerships and is responsible for business development growth and source new medium corporate partnerships. In conjunction with the VP of Financial Wellness, the FWS proactively develops the corporate partner’s financial wellness service plans and activities to help employees reach their financial goals and drive Summit’s membership, loans and deposit relationships with corporate partner employees. The FWS coordinates and attends financial wellness events and promotions at both corporate partner sites and off premises. The FWS maintains accurate reports and records of relationships utilizing a CRM. This position will be based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with some travel to our Headquarters in Madison, Wi.

Expected Outcomes
- Drive growth and expansion of Financial Wellness for Employee’s business development and service efforts.
- Develop, promote and facilitate financial education and employee coaching sessions by identifying member goals and assessing gaps; further driving awareness of Summit’s products and services.
- Develop and acquire new business relationships or SEGs (Select Employer Groups) for the Financial Wellness for Employees program by cultivating internal sales channels across Summit’s.
- Manage and grow the ongoing relationship of assigned SEG/Partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, business administration or a related field.
- Proven track record of business and community outreach; experienced in representing their company, while having the ability to generate and drive new business from these relationships.
- Past business-to-business or outside sales experience required.
- 3-5 years of financial institution experience preferred.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining productive business relationships by demonstrating punctuality, courtesy, tact, thoroughness, and professionalism in all interactions with employees, members, prospective members and vendors.
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to prioritize a wide range of responsibilities and handle multiple tasks and projects accurately and completely while meeting conflicting deadlines.
