Career Transitions Specialist
Location: Ft Collins (Surrounding Area)
Hours: 20-24 hours / week
Compensation: $22 - 24

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Career Transition Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will assist clients in preparing for employment, developing job readiness skills, finding stable employment opportunities, and achieving long-term career success. This role involves career counseling, job coaching, and building partnerships with local employers. This role will start out Part-Time, but can increase to Full-Time if selected candidate desires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized career counseling and job readiness training to clients.
- Assist clients with resume development, interview prep, and job search strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to create job opportunities.
- Track client progress and outcomes, ensuring timely documentation and reporting.
- Conduct workshops on soft skill development and employability skills.
- Collaborate with team members to provide holistic support tailored to client needs.
- Travel within a 120 mi radius to serve clients in Northern Colorado.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or certificate in Human Services, Education, or related field
- Bachelors degree in Human Services, Education, or related field (Preferred)
- Experience in employment services, workforce development, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Google Office Suite and comfortable with online job platforms.
