What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summit ESC - Substitute 1:1 Student Attendant position at Summit ESC?
Renhill Group is currently looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work on a substitute (part-time, on-call) basis as a One-on-One Student Attendant at Summit ESC in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio for the 2024-2025 school year.
One-on-One Student Attendants will be working with students enrolled in the Integrated Preschool Program.
- Integrated Preschool Program
- Preschool aged children with special needs as well as typically developing peers
- Locations throughout Summit County including Cuyahoga Falls, Copley-Fairlawn, Coventry, Field, Manchester, Mogadore, Nordonia Hills, Revere, Stow-Munroe Falls, Tallmadge, and Woodridge
A One-on-One Student Attendant provides instructional, physical, and social emotional assistance in a caring and nurturing environment to meet the unique needs of a student with an Individual Education Plan.
No formal experience? No problem. Renhill Group's online training courses designed by current and former school district administrators will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to ensure your success in the classroom.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BCI & FBI background checks
- Completed within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education
- Renhill Group offers background checks at one of the area’s lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them
- Aide permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education
- Renhill Group will assist you in obtaining your permit if needed. Permit costs $25 and payment is made directly to the Ohio Department of Education
