MTA Stations-Cleaning Technician-OSHA CERTIFIED A PLUS!
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join Summit Facility Solutions. As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of all network components inside the station. Your primary objective will be to follow the Station Cleaning SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
Responsibilities :
- Perform cleaning activities for network equipment at the station according to the Station Cleaning SOP.
- Inspect AP boxes for any physical damage and document and report findings to the NOC (Network Operations Center).
- Utilize appropriate tools such as ladders, scaffolds, cleaning chemicals, paper towels, dust blowers, scraper tools, and magic tape to clean and maintain network equipment.
- Take before and after photos of each AP box and antenna being cleaned.
- Dust off the top of AP boxes using a blower and wipe the AP box chassis with cleaning solution.
- Remove graffiti from the equipment using appropriate graffiti removal formula.
- Peel off stickers from AP boxes without damaging the coating or antennae.
- Properly dispose of dirty paper towels in black trash bags.
- Apply cold shrink and waterproofing measures as necessary.
- Clean connectors to avoid sealing in dirt.
- Ensure that cleaning is completed in a thorough and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including NYCT Track Safety certification.
Requirements :
Pay Rate : $23-$33 per hour
