The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to deliver comprehensive dental services, including general and pediatric dentistry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, root canal therapy, and preventive care.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions while developing tailored treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice protocols.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and professional development.
Skills
- Proficient in general dentistry techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software for patient management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, dental terminology, and anatomy knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
