Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the Fire Life Safety Technician FE is to provide Perform inspections and service on a variety of fire protection equipment including portable fire extinguishers and emergency lighting with minimal supervision.
Essential Job Duties
Perform inspections and service on a variety of fire protection equipment including portable fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
Seek out additional sales and service opportunities within existing customer locations and advise the customer of compliance needs.
Develop long term relationships with customers and maintain customer retention.
Qualifications

Education, Training, Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
State Or Any Required Certification, Preferred.
Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:
2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Extinguisher Maintenance.
2 years of professional computer skills
Communication Skills
Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.
Other Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
Must be able to comply with SFP’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
Must be able to travel 90% of the time.
