Food Service Director
We are seeking a motivated and effective Food Service Director to lead our Corrections team in Clarkson, Washington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
- Lead and manage a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
- Evaluate staff performance and ensure they meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Develop and manage budgets for the department, including purchasing ingredients and meeting targets.
- Communicate with district managers and other departments on technical and administrative aspects of dining services.
- Address customer service needs.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
- Previous experience with industrial cooking.
- Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
- Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer satisfaction.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServSafe and/or HACCP certification.
