The Shipping Clerk, under the direction of the Senior Manager of Production, will be responsible for Shipping with the ability to float where needed throughout the day, once trained in all areas.
This person will serve as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB. No experience is necessary; we are willing to train!

Responsibilities
The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for examining contents and comparison of records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment using company computers, scanning systems and software programs.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes using computer programs and scanning devices.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
- Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
- Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
- Back up for the Returns Associate job functions
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to stand up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to consistently lift, push, pull or carry items 40-50 lbs
- The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand
- The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
- The ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns
- The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of shipping experience
- Experience in apparel industry preferred
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
