Warehouse/Shipping Associate

Position Overview:

Summit Golf Brands (SGB), located in Barneveld, WI, is seeking a full time Warehouse Associate. Summit Golf Brands is a fast-growing company that designs and source high-end golf apparel and sportswear, sold online and at leading country clubs and resorts around the world. Our brands can be found at over 3,000 accounts in more than 25 countries.

The Warehouse Associate, under the direction of the VP of Warehouse, will be responsible for Picking, Replenishing, Receiving and Shipping with the ability to float where needed throughout the day, once trained in all areas. The will serve as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB. No experience is necessary; we are willing to train!

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Associate, will be responsible for examining contents and comparison of records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment using company computers, scanning systems and software programs.

• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck, wave pickers, forklift or sorting bins.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes using computer programs and scanning devices.

• Ability to consistently lift, push, pull or carry items 40-50 lbs.
• The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
• The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
• The ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns. The things to be compared may be presented at the same time or one after the other.
• The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Experience:

• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Experience in apparel industry.
