What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Junior Varsity Baseball Coach SY 24-25 position at Summit High School?
Summit High School is seeking a dynamic coach and educator to lead the JV Baseball team beginning in the 2024-25 school year.
Characteristics and qualities:
- Follows the lead of the Head Varsity Baseball Coach in all aspects of the program.
- Demonstrates a commitment to building a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment.
- Balances the student-first approach with volleyball skill development and improvement.
- Teaches and develops sport and life skills, leadership, integrity and sportsmanship.
- Always serves as a positive role model as well as an exemplary representative of Summit High School.
- Promotes baseball in Summit County and builds relationships with the community and constituents.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- High school and/or college playing experience preferred
- 1 or more years of coaching experience preferred
