100,000 and up annual earning potential first year
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies / attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
- Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to
- Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction
- Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and the community at large in order to retain existing and attract new business
- Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline
Business Development :
Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with potential referral partners, including realtors, builders, bankers, and other community members.Loan Process Oversight :
Manage an active pipeline of loans, ensuring that all necessary documents are accurately and promptly prepared by borrowers, loan officers, title companies, and other professionals.Collaborate with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a seamless transaction from start to finish.Borrower Education & Counseling :
Advise borrowers on the various loan options available, helping them understand the pros and cons of each to determine the best fit for their financial needs.Guide borrowers throughout the loan application process and ensure they are well-informed about their choices.Lead Management & Sales :
Handle and convert incoming leads, including an average of 8-10 new referrals per day, to fuel business growth.Pitch loan products to qualified borrowers and help them navigate the application and decision-making process.Post-Closing Focus :
After a loan is sold, focus on acquiring new business while the processing team takes over file management.Compliance & Documentation :
Ensure that all aspects of the loan process are compliant with company policies and regulatory guidelines.Work closely with all involved parties to gather and prepare necessary documents, ensuring underwriting standards are met.Skills & Competencies :
Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with referral partners, including realtors, builders, and community professionals.Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex loan products and guide borrowers through their options.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a high-volume loan pipeline while ensuring compliance.In-depth knowledge of loan products and the ability to advise borrowers on the best fit for their financial goals.Strong multitasking abilities to manage various tasks and meet production targets.Problem-solving skills to navigate challenges during the loan process and ensure a smooth experience for borrowers.Qualifications :
Familiarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed / adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of CreditRequires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policiesMultiple years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending requiredOffice Suite knowledge and loan originating software such as Calyx, Experian, or LendingWise preferredBachelor’s degree from a four year college or university required in banking, business, real estate, or a related fieldNMLS Certified – Successfully passed the NMLS exam, demonstrating a solid foundation in mortgage industry knowledge.Eager to Learn – Enthusiastic about expanding knowledge and skills in the mortgage industry and committed to continuous growth.Positive and Energetic – Bring a high level of energy and a positive attitude to all tasks, contributing to a motivating and collaborative work environment.Competitive & Team-Oriented – Thrive in competitive settings and excel in working with others to achieve team goals.Money Motivated – Driven by performance-based rewards and committed to achieving high levels of success.No Experience Necessary – Open to individuals with little or no prior experience; willing to train and provide the tools necessary for success.About Company
