What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast/Banquet Host position at Summit Hotel Mgmt?
The regularly scheduled hours will be 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, however depending on the need, the hours might shift to 7:00 am - 3:00 pm on some occasions. Weekend work is required.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Stocking food and service-ware for breakfast buffets
- Clearing tables during the complimentary breakfast period
- Interacting with guests
- Assisting with set up, service, and take down of banquet room sets
- Assisting the department manager with daily tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Eagerness to learn and improve, ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Previous breakfast, hosting or banquet experience strongly preferred
- Food service/hospitality experience preferred
- Food Handler Certification preferred but not required
