Summit HR Partners has been retained to conduct a search for TWO exciting full-time Marketing Roles for our client based in Elmsford, NY, Central Turf & Irrigation Supply. Central TIS is a leading wholesale distributor for landscape supplies—with more than 60 locations in the U.S. and Canada. We are a fast-growing company in a highly competitive industry.


Both roles report to the Director of Marketing, and require a sense of urgency, an ability to learn new skills quickly, highly organized, and detail oriented. This fast-paced, in-house marketing department supports all retail locations, corporate marketing initiatives, and marketing and sales events. These are excellent opportunities to grow, learn, and fine tune your skills.


We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator with experience in marketing and sales material creation, digital and email marketing, website maintenance, and marketing support. Our ideal candidate should be a results-driven team player with solid graphic design and typography skills, with a strong interest in digital/email marketing. This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the Elmsford, NY office.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, developing, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, paid ads, or content marketing
  • Independently coordinate marketing initiatives and activities to support local/regional branches, sales team, and category specific goals
  • Creation and execution of print and digital marketing collateral, including but not limited to monthly specials/newsletter, event invitations, catalogs, booklets, flyers, etc.
  • Resize/create/edit imagery for various channel distribution when necessary
  • Tracks, collates, and maintains highly organized inventory of marketing materials
  • Builds and tests eblasts and marketing automation series
  • Prepare marketing proposals and meeting presentation materials
  • Support event planning and production, including internal quarterly meetings, grand opening events, trade shows and classes
  • Maintain and update website as needed to correspond with upcoming/current marketing calendar
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice, including monthly articles for website and newsletter
  • Conducts research and monitors industry and marketing/business trends to identify engaging topics for newsletters
  • Monitor and respond to requests from website
  • Must be able to multitask and assist on various projects when needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or graphic design preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including digital and email marketing
  • Strong graphic design experience
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to design in PPT for presentations and proposals
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
  • Must exhibit excellent organizational / time management skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work within allotted deadlines while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor
  • Copy writing
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms a plus
  • Knowledge of print processes and production a plus
  • Knowledge of video editing a plus


We are looking for a talented Marketing Events and Travel Coordinator with experience in event planning, executing, and evaluating a diverse range of marketing and sales events. Our ideal candidate should be a well-rounded, customer service-obsessed, digitally savvy, and results-driven professional that thrives in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment. This is a remote role, but must be within driving distance of the Elmsford, NY office to support events as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the Director of Marketing to help strategically plan and execute global and regional events in collaboration with executive team, regional teams, and external stakeholders
  • Assist with all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, attendee travel, and onsite coordination, to ensure flawless execution on event day
  • Manage event administration such as registrations, guest lists, and travel logistics when needed, providing support to attendees and addressing any inquiries or issues that may arise
  • Manage events framework to ensure that initiatives and collateral developed align to brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event promotional strategies and materials to ensure alignment with program and consistency with brand
  • Consult with local teams as needed on best practices, recommendations and toolkits to enable their success
  • Serve as brand marketing liaison for events and partnerships developed with cross-functional teams, ensuring that partnership marketing material and initiatives are consistent and on brand
  • Oversee the execution of major event, sponsorship and/or partner opportunities
  • Cultivate relationships with potential vendors, providers, sponsors, and partners to stay on top of new and potential opportunities (both paid and barter)
  • Analyze event performance metrics and provide post-event reports with insights and recommendations
  • Participate in marketing team meetings, sales training sessions, company meetings, and industry events as needed
  • Support day-to-day coordination of marketing and sales efforts including, but not limited to: management of all-team meetings calendar, team travel, webinars, development of slide decks, collateral, and program updates
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role as you will be interfacing with a lot of different stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to multitask and assist on various projects when needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 2 years’ experience in Corporate Hospitality, Tradeshows, and/or Marketing Events
  • Skilled in project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, event management and CRM software
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work within allotted deadlines while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor
  • Available to work outside of regular office hours during scheduled events and to travel when necessary.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
