Role and Responsibilities
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the successful implementation of a large scale project for SummitIG in Virginia. This role primarily involves working closely with internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure program objectives are met / exceeded. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and serving as the primary point of contact for customer support and issue resolution.
- Manage large-scale customer-facing project and ensure quality delivery on schedule in Virginia
- Create and maintain project specific documents (schedule, risk, costs, etc.) for both internal and external project stakeholders with input from internal team members
- Lead customer project review sessions focused on schedule, risks, and performance
- Act as a customer advocate within the organization, representing customer needs and providing feedback to internal stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction
- Participate in meetings with 3rd parties related to the successful execution of the project including right-of-way agents, economic development, city / county / state officials, and data center developers. Ensure clear expectations and scopes of work through verbal and written communication.
- Prepare all reports and close out documents, in partnership with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors, to drive project(s) to full completion based on customer contract requirements

Additional Notes
This role can be hybrid for the first 6 months (2-3 days in Sterling, VA office) and switch to in-office attendance required only for customer and company meetings, as needed. Travel to other markets may be required. Opportunity for a company vehicle depending on position needs.
