What are the responsibilities and job description for the Science Teacher (Middle/Secondary) Virtual/Hybrid position at Summit Learning Charter?
Summit Learning Charter is a blended virtual school that is sponsored by the Estacada School District. We are looking to hire a Full Time Science teacher to support our growing charter school and amazing school community.

Job Setting: This position will serve students in our Virtual Academy Program in grades 6-12. This position will have duties that can be done at home, but the applicant will also need to report to our Eagle Creek location 2 x per week to support our enrichment activities, as well as, 1 friday a month for team meetings.
Full time for the 2025/26 school year
Current Oregon Teaching License and Appropriate Endorsements required
General Description: The Secondary Teacher in a hybrid learning environment is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in both in-person and virtual settings. This role requires designing and implementing engaging lessons that align with curriculum standards, leveraging technology to enhance learning, and fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom community. The teacher will monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners across both formats. Collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents is essential to ensure academic success and promote student well-being in this flexible, innovative learning environment.
