We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paralegal Advisor to join our team at Summit Legal Aid.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written, verbal, and listening skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. They will be responsible for working closely with the Pro Bono and PAI Manager to identify, refer, and manage client matters eligible for the program.
Requirements:
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills;
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Interest and ability to work with a diverse client population of varying social, educational, racial, and ethnic backgrounds;
- Demonstrated ability to work on a team, prioritize responsibilities, and manage and meet time-sensitive deadlines;
- Must be willing to travel, attend community events, and have a car and valid driver's license;
- Strong computer, administrative, reporting, and data entry skills required;
- Having connections among the local legal community is preferred but not required.
This is a hybrid position that operates in a professional law office environment. It may occasionally require carrying regular office supplies.
