Location: Martinsburg Cement Plant, Martinsburg, WV

Roles & Responsibilities
- Address any malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and report any safety hazards to the coordinator if corrections cannot be made.
- Maintain regular communication with the Production Control Supervisor to identify or anticipate potential issues, enabling quick mitigation or prevention of plant problems.
- Perform any necessary repairs within your capabilities, including welding.
- Carry out any cleanup required to create a safer and better working environment. This may involve working in confined areas with temperatures exceeding 110°F.
- Housekeeping is a daily requirement.
- This position requires shift work, callouts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, and working on weekends and holidays. Your work schedule may be adjusted on short notice, and the rotation consists of 12-hour shifts with turnover periods.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Production Control Supervisor.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- This position supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, and adheres to and upholds all company policies, safety standards and federal / state regulations.
- Proven ability in the current position, demonstrating readiness to complete the Production Technician Certification Training Program.
- Strong safety and attendance record.
- Experience with skid steer loaders, front-end loaders, and preferred welding experience.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening which may include a physical, background check, and drug screen.
