Overview
Roles & Responsibilities
Safety and Compliance
Take a personal interest in safety, ensuring personal and team safety at all times.
Properly utilize all required personal and company safety equipment.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
Inspect operating equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets, and report issues immediately to the Quarry Supervisor.
Correct equipment malfunctions or safety hazards when possible; escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor.
Safely operate and maintain heavy equipment, including :
Skid steer loaders, front-end loaders, dozers, excavators, water trucks, and haul trucks.
Production and Plant Support
Produce sufficient raw materials of appropriate quality to support plant operations.
Conduct pre-operational inspections, properly document findings, and report deficiencies.
Housekeeping and Environmental Standards
Maintain a hazard-free quarry area, ensuring neatness and environmental compliance. This includes :
Berms, roadways, high walls, stockpiles, and other areas.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist other departments and contractors as needed to ensure efficient plant operations.
Perform other tasks as required during periods of quarry downtime.
