What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Specialist - Summit Medical Group position at Summit Medical Group, P.L.L.C.?
Summit Medical Group is recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This is a full time position. This position is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and screening applicants (depending on preferred process of hiring manager) to fill existing and future job openings. Assists hiring managers with recruiting/selection processes for all positions for all Summit Medical Group (SMG) sites.
Examples of Duties (List does not include all duties assigned)
- Prepares reports related to employee staffing and HR processes (e.g., “time-to-fill” reports).
- Produces regular Open Position Announcement in coordination with Human Resources Director.
- Coordinates and completes resume screening process, to include review of incoming resumes versus minimum position requirements and distribute/direct
screened and recommended candidates to hiring manager. - Coordinates all advertising (both venue and copy), networking, and other means of sourcing skilled candidates for employment. This includes creating/proofing ad
copy, providing ads to advertiser, and posting/maintaining ads. - Assists Human Resources Director in developing and maintaining short-term and long-term recruiting strategies for recruiting appropriate staff for our customer
base. - Develops necessary programs, policies, and procedures for recruiting to ensure effective implementation.
- Identifies appropriate high caliber candidates for open positions.
- Recommends appropriate candidates for hire (if desired) for hiring manager.
- Tracks time to fill and time to slate for open positions.
- Follows up and communicates frequently with the hiring manager to facilitate qualified candidate placement.
- Completes needs analysis with hiring manager for all non-physician requisitions.
- Screens applicants and provides summarized slate of candidates (including CV or résumé) to the hiring manager.
- Actively engages skilled labor to establish a candidate pool for future potential openings.
- Develops marketing materials for recruitment activities. Maintains appropriate stock of literature, brochures, packets, and giveaways at all times.
- Develops and maintains a social media presence for Summit’s open opportunities using Summit’s website, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Pinterest (this list is not
exhaustive of all social media opportunities). - Actively participates in recruitment process including sourcing, screening, presenting practice profiles, scheduling and hosting site visits and interviews.
- Assists in gathering of required information for new hires necessary for onboarding.
- Maintains on-going Openings reporting, including status reports and TTF.
- Engages potential candidates by participating in community and school job fairs. Leverages organization’s brand throughout this process.
- Maintains adequate levels of recruiting materials and ensures all printed material correct and up-to-date information.
- Maintains superb working relationships with all schools/colleges/universities that feed our organization’s potential employees.
- Establishes relationships and maintains agreements with appropriate schools/colleges/universities for externship/practicum experiences.
- Assists in completing/analyzing additional management candidate testing when requested by leadership
- Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.
- Adheres to expectations of the established corporate compliance plan.
- Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each Employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.

Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience
At least three years of experience in a position related to Human Resources.
Certification/License
None required. ASPR preferred.
