Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures.
- Educate and counsel patients on health maintenance and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years of previous patient care experience in a clinic setting, plus two years of APN or PA experience is preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Currently licevnsed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in State of Tennessee, or current Physician Assistant licensed to practice in State of Tennessee.
