Facility Requirements
**100 mile radius rule - mileage within will be reviewed on a case by case by facility for approval**
First time travelers - NO
EMR: Meditech, GE Centricity -preferred not required.
Job/Unit Requirements
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift dates/schedule: 18:45p-7:15a
Weekends Required: Every other weekend
License required: KS or Compact License at time of submission
Certifications required: BLS & NRP required. STABLE preferred
# of years of experience required: 3yrs experience required. Charge experience preferred.
Skills preferred: Admin of Blood and Blood Products, UAC & UVC, Antiseizure Meds, Surfactants, Steroids, Assist w/ lumbar puncture, Bubble CPAP, Management of Chest tubes
Skills required: Endocrine/Metabolic, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage) Infectious Disease (Isolation Precautions, Neonatal Sepsis, Sepsis work up)
Starting and Maintain IVs, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Antibiotics/Antivirals, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Professional Topics, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Oxygen Delivery Systems
Respiratory distress syndrome
Additional Skills: Circumcisions, hearing screens, Assessment of postpartum mom
Labor & Delivery Management: High risk delivery, forceps/vacuum, C-Sections, Neonatal Care, Newborn Care, Postpartum Care, Surgical Cases
Work settings required: NICU II & Mother Baby required. Attend High Risk Deliveries, Community Hospital
Patient Types: Neonates 29-34 weeks
