Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues and ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality before release.
Duties
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications, including iOS and web services.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure applications run efficiently under various conditions.
- Utilize tools such as Cucumber for automated testing to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams during the release management process to ensure smooth deployment of software updates.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects, issues, and overall application quality.
- Participate in CI/CD processes to streamline testing and deployment workflows.
- Maintain documentation related to testing processes, results, and quality assurance standards.
- Work with databases such as DB2 to validate data integrity throughout the testing process.
- Utilize HP ALM for managing test cases, defects, and reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
- Strong understanding of iOS application development and web services.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Experience in release management processes within a software development lifecycle.
- Proficient in analyzing data and identifying trends or issues that affect software quality.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices to support continuous integration and delivery efforts.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is a plus.
- Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with HP ALM for managing test cases and defect tracking is advantageous.
- Knowledge of database management systems like DB2 is preferred.
