Full-Time Oral Surgery Assistant

Role Overview: As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you'll ensure smooth operations in our practice.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Surgical Support: Assist the oral surgeon during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating needs.
- Consultation Support: Help with patient histories, recover sedated patients, and explain treatment plans.
- Prosthetics Assistance: Prepare and pass instruments for dental implants, ensure secure placement, and assist with adjustments.
- Room Setup: Prepare the operatory with necessary instruments and ensure cleanliness.
- Pano/CT Scans: Operate and maintain scanning equipment.
- Instrument Sterilization: Clean, sterilize, and store surgical instruments.
- Pre/Post-Operative Care: Explain instructions and care to patients.
- Patient Confidentiality: Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Track supplies and assist with ordering.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or experience as a surgical assistant preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.
Experience:
- 1 year of dental assisting required.
License/Certifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant required.
