Pay Range (depending on experience):
$38.55 - $53.81.
Job Summary
This registered nurse position provides total nursing care to patients within the urgent care unit and clinic. This involves planning, administering and evaluation the nursing care of patients. Administers all treatments and medications and maintains complete and accurate records of nursing assessments and nursing care. The nurse must also have expertise in recognizing complications during procedures and patient care. The nurse is responsible for learning how to operate all technological equipment utilized in the unit. The functions performed require judgment based upon the application of scientific knowledge and are guided by the established philosophy and policies of the organization and the unit.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for total patient care, including medication, orders and treatments.
Assists providers in performing procedures and minor surgeries.
Ability to triage for appropriate level of care.
Assists in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient’s physical condition.
Special projects and other related duties as assigned. Complete medication reconciliation. Able to train other RN’s or medical assistants in the nursing role. Pyxis

Required Education and Experience
- Successful graduate of a 2 year RN program.
- BSN preferred but not required.
Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations
Current and unrestricted RN license. Current ACLS certification required. Current ACLS certification, required within 60 days of hire.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to work independently performing a wide variety of duties that require the use of independent judgment, advanced problem-solving, critical thinking, organization, and prioritization skills. Ability to cultivate effective partnerships and work in collaboration with providers, other health care professionals, managers, and patients. Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation and records. Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned.
