Job Summary
Summit Pathology Laboratories in Loveland, CO has an opportunity for a qualified Histologist to become part of our team of dedicated professionals..
Responsibilities and Duties
Embedding, microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry and equipment maintenance to assure timely and high quality preparation of histology specimens
Applicants will demonstrate competency in using multiple computer systems, practice excellent customer service skills, be willing to work any shift, and demonstrate independent judgement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Two years’ experience at the bench level
- New Graduate from a Histology Program will be considered
- ASCP Certification, preferred
- Must have strong mental and visual concentration
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on communication
- Starting pay range for this position: $27-$35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
