We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team at the Tuscaloosa Clinic. The NP will be responsible for managing patients with chronic conditions, providing timely and efficient patient care, prescribing medications, and reconciling medications. The NP will also perform preventive and physical exam services, and ensure that all notes are signed promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and treat patients with chronic conditions.
- Provide timely and efficient patient care.
- Prescribe and reconcile medications.
- Conduct preventive and physical examination services.
- Sign notes in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with primary clinic physician and medical director.
- See between 20-25 patients per day.
Support Provided: Our clinic offers a highly efficient and well-trained clinical support staff to assist the NP. Support staff responsibilities include prescreening patients before appointments, aiding in the management of chronic conditions and essential procedures, taking notes and charting and other tasks at the office.
Supervision: The Nurse Practitioner will work under the supervision of the primary clinic physician and the medical director.
