Wellness Director
The Summit Place of Kings Mountain is seeking a skilled RN/LPN to serve as its Wellness Director.
This role involves providing comprehensive leadership and management of the residents' health and well-being within the community. Key responsibilities include overseeing clinical programs, ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance, assisting with staff training and onboarding, and partnering with the Regional Director of Resident Care for Medication Care Manager training where permitted by law.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of department management experience working with elderly or disabled individuals, preferably in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing settings
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong organizational skills
- Multi-department experience a plus
- Knowledge and experience in Dementia care and/or Assisted Living industry
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of infection control procedures
- Ability to schedule, train, and orientate staff effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Capacity to implement Personalized Service Plans
- Comprehensive understanding of advanced directives and end-of-life care
- Embracing of the assisted living philosophy
- Strong nursing function in Assisted Living, quality of care, and quality of life objectives
