With 35 years of experience, Summit Point Motorsports Park and Training Facility provides Commercial Motorsports events along with customized Security and Emergency Medical training solutions on our 786-acre facility located in Summit Point, WV. We are a recognized leader in the Motorsports and Security Training Solutions Markets for both commercial and government clients. WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Hospitality Concessions Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing our concessions operations for Summit Point Motorsports Park. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of concessions, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This position will report to the Director of Motorsports.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for :

  • Overseeing the day-to-day activities of concessions, including coordinating with vendors and ensuring all operations run smoothly.
  • Monitoring sales, controlling costs, preparing vendor orders, and ensuring profitability. This includes tracking inventory and controlling waste.
  • Managing the proper storage of all items, following FIFO practices, whether perishable or non-perishable, ensuring that food is stored according to health and safety standards.
  • Designing and developing menus that align with our customers’ needs.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality service and addressing any complaints or issues that arise.
  • Ensuring that all food safety and sanitation regulations are followed, along with any other health and safety standards required within West Virginia.
  • Communicating about equipment status and need for potential work orders.

  • Requirements :

    PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

    This position is very active and requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, use of hands, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 100 pounds.

    Work Conditions : The worker is subject to noise and hazards. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

    Job Requirements and Qualifications :

    Required :

  • Must possess excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Must have a ServSafe Manager Certificate.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Food handling and customer service experience required.
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with OrderCounter or similar POS system.
  • Has handled inventory control and ordering for a food service setting.
