JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Paint Booth Cleaner FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
SUMMARY
The paint booth cleaner will perform routine cleaning of the paint booths. General activity includes janitorial activities, lifting, water blasting, preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment, inspection of waste storage areas and documentation as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Responsible for working in general maintenance of the of the spray booths and clean-up spray
Use industrial cleaners to clean up paint booths
Change/replace various filters throughout paint booths
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, and rules.
Using solvents and manual scraping/chipping to clean walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights.
Vacuums and wipes interior and exterior of equipment.
Performs other specialized paint booth cleaning jobs as required.
Performs special projects and other tasks as directed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional score of 16 on the Cognitive portion).
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position typically does not require any travel.
