JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE : Utility, Molding FLSA STATUS : Non Exempt
REPORTS TO : Supervisor, Manufacturing (Molding)
SUMMARY
This is responsible work, generally of a routine nature. Supplies parts and / or material as needed as well as other duties as assigned. Direct supervision is provided by the shift supervisor, but the routine nature of the work allows for reasonable independent work scheduling within prescribed guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be physically capable of walking for the entire work shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Repeated bending and lifting during the shift.
- Must be able to wear steel-toe footwear.
- Adequate visual acuity to qualify for a forklift license.
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack for product movement.
- Must be capable of climbing ladders / stairs for material changes.
- Must be capable of standing for entire shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices. Ability to pass color hue and color blindness test.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position typically does not require any travel.
