We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead our Phoenix operations, manage a team of technicians, drive business growth, and oversee financial performance. This role will have full P&L responsibility and play a critical part in integrating newly acquired businesses into our expanding platform.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Phoenix market, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and develop a team of pool technicians, office staff, and service managers.
- Implement operational best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss statement for the Phoenix market.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost controls to maximize profitability.
- Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and increase revenue through strategic decision-making.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow the business through customer acquisition, retention, and service expansion.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation and customer engagement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients to expand service contracts.
- Lead the successful integration of newly acquired pool service businesses in the Phoenix area.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth transitions.
- Support due diligence, assess operational gaps, and align acquired businesses with company goals.
- Provide leadership to newly onboarded employees, ensuring cultural and operational alignment.
- Recruit, train, and retain high-performing technicians and support staff.
- Establish performance metrics and hold teams accountable for achieving operational goals.
- Foster a positive company culture with a strong emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and accountability.
- 5 years of experience in general management, operations, or leadership within home services, field service management, or related industries.
- Proven experience in P&L management with a track record of driving profitability and revenue growth.
- Strong ability to lead teams, manage technicians, and optimize field operations.
- Experience in M&A integration, business expansion, or scaling service-based companies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in operational software, scheduling tools, and financial reporting.
- Industry experience in pool services, HVAC, plumbing, or similar field service businesses is a plus.
- Competitive base salary of $70,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on experience
