What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist/Limited X-ray position at Summit Primary Care?
Job Summary
Full-time weekdays position with a Large Family Practice.
Experience preferred.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Learn all approved department procedures including learning to operate all equipment needed to perform the following tests:
- Chest/ Extremities/ Skull/ Sinus and Full Spine x-rays within limited scope license.
- EKG testing and scanning printed results into EMR.
- Perform and record audiometry test.
- Placement, removal, and downloading of Holter Monitor.
- Perform, download, retrieve, and scan results for Retinavue testing.
- Perform, download, and retrieve results for Spirometry testing.
- Learn how to run equipment and to perform all in-house lab tests including protime, cbc, urinalyis, and assorted CLIA waived tests.
- Perform maintenance on equipment when directed by supervisor.
- Perform QC testing and QA documentation when required by supervisor.
License and/or Certifications
- Phlebotomist/ Medical Assistant
- Limited Scope X-ray License
