Assembly Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Lead to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or factory setting and possess mechanical knowledge to effectively assemble products using hand and power tools. This role is crucial in ensuring that our assembly line operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our production goals.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies according to specifications and blueprints.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to fabricate parts as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly line processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in the operation of forklifts for material handling when required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during the assembly process.
• Lead and Train
• All other tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Familiarity with assembly line operations and fabrication processes is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 4x10
• Morning shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Attendance bonus
