Responsibilities
- Assemble components and subassemblies according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to fabricate parts as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly line processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the operation of forklifts for material handling when required.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during the assembly process.
- Lead and Train
- All other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Familiarity with assembly line operations and fabrication processes is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and assembly instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
