Assistant Community Manager Job Description
The Assistant Community Manager will work as part of the Chittenden team, which includes a Community Manager and a maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage time effectively, and be attentive to details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and scanning resident files, processing rent checks and service requests, managing resident meal tickets, and responding to phone calls and email inquiries.
- Working with the Community Manager to prepare the monthly management report and assist with annual budgeting process.
- Assisting with tenant concerns and issues, planning and executing resident events, and creating a monthly resident newsletter.
- Maintaining waitlists, prospects, and turnovers for the community, sending out marketing and leasing packets, and communicating with prospects through the leasing process.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in property management, with a focus on leasing and affordable housing programs (LIHTC) preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with MRI or other real estate software is preferred.
