Job Title: Drywaller / Sheetrock Specialist (Multi-Family) – Mobile/Roving Position
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Drywaller/Sheetrock Specialist to join our multi-family maintenance team. This is a mobile/roving position that requires traveling between multiple apartment communities to perform drywall installation, repair, and finishing tasks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hanging, taping, mudding, and texturing drywall while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel between assigned multi-family communities to complete drywall and sheetrock projects.
- Install, repair, tape, mud, and finish drywall to meet project specifications.
- Perform texturing, sanding, and painting as needed to ensure a seamless finish.
- Assess and repair damage from water, impact, or general wear and tear.
- Work independently and efficiently while following company quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with property managers, maintenance teams, and supervisors.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and adheres to safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at each job site.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, and finishing.
- Ability to match textures and perform high-quality repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Comfortable working in occupied and unoccupied residential units.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to travel daily between properties.
