Medical Assistant
Summit Radiology, PC has a current opening within our Interventional Clinic, located in MOB 1 on the Lutheran Hospital Campus. We have a wonderful opportunity for a full time Medical Assistant to be part of our Interventional Radiology team. The hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm with no weekends, holidays or call coverage. Benefits include: Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holiday Time Off, 401(k) and Profit Sharing.
Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician or physician's assistant. Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and documents in EMR. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Performs patient follow up phone calls. Other duties as assigned.
The Medical Assistant will be cross-trained to cover front desk, scheduling, and other sites in the area. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic go-getter who wants to be part of a team.
