We are currently hiring for Site Superintendent for exterior work within the Portland Metro / Vancouver area. Full Time 40 hrs per week. Competitive pay starting at $3 5 per hour!
Construction Superintendent Responsibilities :
- Manage projects from start to finish including all aspects of quality, workflow, and customer satisfaction
- Understand plans, details, specifications, project manual, and other pertinent documents
- Manage crew and subcontractor schedule from site
- Select crew leaders and crew
- Coordinate subcontractors
- Written notification and client communication as necessary to perform work
- Answer client questions and concerns. Ensure customers' happiness.
- Order materials & supplies
- Ensure safety and PPE is being followed by all crew and subcontractors
- Understand budgets weekly and relay to crew as necessary
- Inform PM of any needed scope or value changes
- Call for inspections. Interface with inspectors, clients, and site visitors.
- Keep daily job logs as directed
- Accurately track crew & subcontractor time
- Ensure ALL equipment (including but not limited to Summit owned, subcontractor owned, and rental) is safe and functional.
- Open & close job site
- Submit weekly paperwork including but not limited to : credit card & account receipts, subcontractor timecards, safety meetings, project schedule & plan, photo chip card, budget tracking.
