- Full-time, Permanent Position for a Fellowship-Trained BC/BE Epileptologist
About the Epilepsy Center
We are a warm and welcoming group of people with a collaborative mindset. Our approach to care is supportive and multidisciplinary, incorporating 8 epileptologists, 3 neurosurgeons, a social worker, and a psychiatrist.
- Clinical Duties Include Outpatient Care and Diagnostic Services
The Epilepsy Center's Approach
We prioritize personalized, coordinated care with an excellent patient experience. Our center offers all necessary diagnostic and treatment tools, including:
- Advanced Diagnostic Tools: Level 4 Accredited Epilepsy Center by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC), full range of EEG types, 3T MRI, functional MRI, PET, Wada test, and epilepsy-focused neuropsychological evaluations
- State-of-the-Art Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU): ABRET-accredited EEG lab staffed with registered EEG technologists, SPECT studies with high-quality image processing, intracranial EEG monitoring with sophisticated brain reconstruction software, and exquisite electrode localization and seizure interpretation
- Most Advanced Surgical Treatments: deep brain stimulation (DBS), responsive neurostimulation (RNS), and laser ablation
We welcome fellowship-trained BC/BE Epileptologists with strong competency in surgical treatment of epilepsy and interest in developing cutting-edge approaches for epilepsy surgery. Demonstrated experience in education, research, or quality improvement is also valued.
