We are seeking an OBGYN to join our team in Bradford, PA, located just 75 miles from Buffalo.
- This is a full-time, permanent employed position with mostly outpatient responsibilities and on-call privileges at a local hospital.
- The community shared OBGYN call schedule ensures a balanced workload.
- Funding for NHSC loan repayment is available through our FQHC partnership.
- Flexible scheduling options include 8 or 10 hour shifts.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
- Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions affecting women's health.
- Prescribe medications as needed, following standardized procedures and company policy.
- Perform routine exams, including pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams.
- Evaluate patients' mood and emotional well-being during post-partum appointments.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Monitor patients' progress and outcomes, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans, medication side effects, and disease prevention strategies.
- Educate patients on reproductive health and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions.
- Conduct routine check-ups and follow up appointments as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills when interacting with patients.
- Multitask effectively and manage assigned projects and tasks.
